Maybe even fetch 4-500 if you cleaned it up adn threw a new set of stickers on it.Depending on what year it is and what parts it has on it, it can be worth anywhere from 800 (mid 90's model with decent parts) to 3k (loop tail with top notch parts).
The Hutch, depending if it's a Chinese built (they built them in China at the end of their run) and condition/parts will be worth 600-1500.Buy em if you can get them for under 300 each. I'll post some pics. I currently own quite a few GT's that I'm restoring includig an American made 84 and 85 matching 20' and 16'r. I love the brand Just picked up some DC MX1000's with matching dates to add to the 85 Expensive NOS parts these days. I also collect Tuf Neck stems and GT epoch headsets.
I couldn't afford that stuff when I was younger so it was part of my midlife crisis. Nice bikes Nord.really clean setups. You making any money off these setups.or doing it for enjoyment and get your fill off the build and chasing parts? You know your GT stuff.I will come to you if I ever try to recreate my 1983 GT Pro.Bullsey, Dura Ace Cranks, OMF headset.traded it for stupid 10 speed after I tired of racing.I think you collecting some of the necks and small parts is a good idea cause people need them and you can charge a good penny for the tuff stuff.Be nice to have a old up-opened case of Hutch Bear Trap pedals.jeez those things bring a pretty penny for a small part. I'm super patient so it helps. Problem is powdercoating a bike the right way has become really expensive.
I've seen those Hutch pedals listed between 450-1200 bucks. That doesn't mean their getting that though. My problem is I don't sell anythingI am definitely in it for the chase. I can't find a 84-85 dark blue GT BMX seat for the life of me.
One will show up at some point though. Problem is i need two of them and at this point would be happy with just one. Each bike is a puzzle. I just refuse to overpay for a part.
